Professional Background

Vincent Jackson is Founder, President and CEO of Marketing Moves, Inc., a strategic marketing consultancy with a unique focus on brand and project management, product and service innovation, and corporate communications. Based in Dallas, the company’s clients include: Frito-Lay, Pro-Line International (division of Alberto-Culver), Southern Methodist University, BNSF Railway, Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, and Commonwealth National Bank of Mobile. In 2005, Marketing Moves received an Award of Excellence and was named “Minority Business Enterprise of the Year” (Class I) by the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) Minority Business Council.

In the marketing field, Jackson is highly regarded as an innovator with a reputation for marketing insight, analytical thinking, and strategic planning. Prior to starting his own company, he was in the marketing department at Frito-Lay, PepsiCo's snack food division, where he was responsible for relaunching the acquired Cracker Jack brand. His marketing efforts helped double Cracker Jack's sales from $40 million to $80 million in just one year. Prior to his Cracker Jack assignment, he was responsible for developing Tostitos Scoops and other new products.

Jackson's professional background also includes experience at Pepsi-Cola, where he served in a number of brand marketing assignments and established a reputation for winning new business accounts through innovative, customer-focused, marketing initiatives. Prior to joining PepsiCo, Jackson worked at Kraft, where he held several marketing roles in the Post Cereals Division. He started his career as a computer systems analyst at Procter & Gamble.

Professional & Community Service Affiliations

Jackson is a member of the DFW Minority Business Council, where he previously served on the Marketing Committee. He also served the Council as chairman of the Branding & Communications Committee of the MarketingPlus Industry Group and as Management Consulting Group Leader of the Professional Services Industry Group. He is a member of the American Marketing Association and a lifetime member of the National Black MBA Association. He is a frequent speaker on marketing and entrepreneurial topics at various workshops and conferences.

Jackson is also affiliated with a number of civic and community service organizations. He currently serves on the board of directors for Head Start of Greater Dallas, where he chairs the Community Affairs Committee. Jackson has also served on the boards of the North Texas Chapter of the March of Dimes Foundation and Junior Players, a non-profit that provides free arts education programs for kids and teens.

He is a former volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and in 2007, was named “Regional Big Brother of the Year” in North Texas. He is the immediate past Executive Director of the Texas District of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and a life member of the fraternity. Jackson is also a life member of the Grambling University National Alumni Association.

Educational Background

In 1983, Jackson received a bachelor of science degree in information systems and accounting from Grambling State University, where he graduated summa cum laude and #1 in his class. Jackson also holds a master of business administration degree in marketing and finance from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Personal Information

Jackson and his wife Lisa reside in Hadley, Massachusetts. They are both involved in various ministries at Bethlehem Baptist Community Church in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
